In ancient times, Panormos village had a fortified citadel or acropolis with an elaborate masonry still preserved today, on the hill Paleokastro. After visiting the fortress, you can follow a beautiful path to the Cave of Pan, the unique monument worshiping the ancient Greek god of the wild.

Panormos is a gorgeous organized pebbled beach located in a large and sheltered bay and surrounded by a beautiful pine forest. There, you can enjoy a dip in the sea, all the while being mesmerized by the fascinating sunset.
