Skopelos is one of the islands of the Northern Sporades, with an area of 96 km2. km and perimeter 67 km. It has two mountains, Palouki (565 m.) and Delphi (680 m.). Skopelos is considered the greenest island in the Aegean since its areacovered almost 80% with dense forests. Stafylos and Velanio are the nearest beaches to Skopelos Chora, as they are only 4 km away.
