How to get to Skopelos
Skopelos is accessible by sea, providing a variety of alternatives to reach your destination by boat. The island is connected to the port of Volos throughout the year, while the connectivity of the island during the summer is significantly augmented with the addition of two extra routes from Euboea (Mantoudi), Thessaloniki and Agios Konstantinos. Furthermore, Skopelos is connected to the nearby ports of Skiathos and Alonnisos via daily routes. The routes to the island are carried out by ferries and speedboats.
During the winter, there is at least one daily route from Volos to Skopelos, while during the summer at least two more daily routes are added.
Depending on the type of the ship and the port of the island (Skopelos, Glossa, or Agnontas), the trip’s duration may vary, and the visitors can choose among many alternatives. Finally, it is worth mentioning that visitors can also fly to the international Skiathos Airport “Alexandros Papadiamantis”, either from Athens or abroad, and then reach Skopelos Island by boat.
