This is the main asphalt road of the island, as it connects the southern with the northern part of the island. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a coastal route with continuous uphill and downhill slopes. Loutraki is the northern port of the island and is built on a slope below the village Glossa. On the road to Glossa, visitors will see signs to most of the beaches of the island (Stafylos, Agnontas, Panormos, Milia, Kastani), where they can make a stop for refreshments. Arriving at Glossa, the view is incredible. We see the port below and go downhill to reach Loutraki. On the way back, the uphill road is quite tiring – after 3 kilometers, we reach the intersection of Glossa.
The route is aimed at road bikes but is certainly also suitable for gravel bikes. The duration of the route is about 2:30 to 3:30 hours depending on your physical condition.
